The Trains of London Midland

London Midland operate the majority of the trains through Ledbury on a route between Hereford and Birmingham New Street. All Ledbury to New Street trains now take the fast route to Birmingham through Bromsgrove. Wonderful news for Ledbury was the introduction of the Class 170 Turbostar trains. These trains are one of the best, IF NOT THE BEST, design of the new generation of modern diesel trains, with large windows, comfortable seating and ample, wide doorways. With very reasonable fares, traffic to Birmingham has increased enormously in recent years.
